COLD OUTSIDE TILDA - TILDAS TOWN DT

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE

How are your preparations going for Christmas?
I went into London last evening and it seemed the whole world was celebrating. The atmosphere was amazing. I have never seen so many happy folk dressed up in Santa costumes. Regents Street was crammed with sight seers and the traffic was in gridlock.

The theme of this week's challenge at
 Tilda's Town is CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS.

"Tilda's Town is a most magical shop specializing in Magnolia Stamps & Cutting dies. We carry over 1,400 stamps in stock at all times & over 4,000 dies from all your favorite brands. We offer very competitive shipping rates and we ship worldwide. Visit us at Tilda's Town and live the magic."

Here is my card.

I have used little Cold Outside Tilda.
She is my favourite stamp from the new Magnolia collection. I have used my Copic pens to colour this time, instead of inks.
Of course there has to be copious amounts of sparkle added, that's compulsory for every Christmas card I make.

The borders are cut with a DoHickey die called Heart  Lace. The Christmas trees were Dees Delightful dies and the pretty center piece was made with a new Joycraft die from Noor Design. I LOVE IT and need to buy more in 2015.

My card of choice for both layering and die cutting is always Bazzill basic. Other embellishments are crystal bead string around the image, a glittered mulberry flower with leaves and berries and beads and berries on the snowy trees.

I hope you will join in our challenge this week.
I look forward to visiting your blogs.

Sending Warm Christmasy Hugs

I coloured Tilda with Distress Re-Inkers onto watercolour paper, adding Glamour Dust to her hat and base.
The papers are also from Magnolia, cut with a Go-kreate die. Other additions are lace and pearls, a doily, a Maja stamp, flowers, leaves and glass on wire.

TIP-TOE TILDA for TILDAS' TOWN

~TILDA'S TOWN CHALLENGE ~
FUSSY & FANCY or CLEAN & LAYERED

Hello Tilda fans, welcome to my blog.
I have happy news - today  I become part of Tilda's Town Design Team.
My blog is quite new so I feel honoured to be asked to join this talented team.
I hope you can join in the challenges.

Fussy & Fancy or Clean & Layered

This card is "Fussy and Fancy".

If this card were a pizza it would be a fully loaded. There are all sorts of embellishments hiding among the lace and flowers.  I used two Do-hickey dies; Twisted Swirl and Tilda's Heart Lace, both cut from white Bazzill card.
The pretty card shape was cut using Go Kreate dies. I believe all the embellishments, lace and flowers are available from The Ribbon Girl. I have fallen in love with those little wooden hearts, so cute threaded with twine.

I stamped Tiptoe Tilda onto Langton Grain Satine watercolour paper and coloured her with Tim Holtz re-inkers.  She has Glamour Dust added to her lace and white pearl stringing round the edge.

I hope you like my card and feel inspired to enter our challenge.
Please join us this week with your card.

ICE SKATING - LILI OF THE VALLEY

MY FIRST CHRISTMAS CARD OF 2014

I love Christmas and try to make as many cards as I can for friends and family. There's an autumnal feel to the air now and before we know it the colder weather will be here. I love to be warm and snug in my craft room, surrounded with pretty papers and glittery things. Bliss!

So, this is my first festive card using a Lili of the Valley stamp
 Ice Skating.

I used kraft card with some white Bazzill, adding some Joy Craft die cut snow flakes, then some pretty lace, ribbon and bead strings from the Ribbon Girl. A double bow holds two Lili of the Valley tags attached to a pearl brad.

I used Tim Holtz distress re-inkers to colour the image, on watercolour paper and added
copious amounts of Glamour Dust for ice and fur.  I love this cute image, it's a favourite of mine.

Tilda with Chanel the Puppy

Tilda with Chanel the Puppy

I am so enjoying this beautiful summer weather.
All the same, my craft room calls to me and I had to make a card. This one uses another of my new stamps. They are so sweet!
I used distress re-inkers on Langton hot pressed, Grain Satin paper and Pro-Arte Polar brushes.

The papers are Maja - from the Sofiero collection.
I love the soft pastel colours and ditsy patterns on these papers, they are so pretty.
They are distressed, inked and machine stitched.
For the inside square, I've used an X Cut die - cutting three strips and joining them together.
The lovely lace and ribbon are from the Ribbon Girl. I added a clear heart to the centre of the bow.
All the pink flowers are available from Wild Orchid Craft.
The metal corner and the resin butterfly have been heat embossed with Fran-tage - Shabby Pink
I also used a tiny amount around the image and Glamour Dust on the bows and petticoat.

I hope you like her. Thank you for looking in.

Strawberry Tilda

STRAWBERRY TILDA

Strawberries are my favourite summer fruit and as Wimbledon approaches, I am sure many of us will be eating strawberries with cream.
For this card I rescued an older Tilda stamp and used Copics to colour her.
The paper is Magnolia, distressed and stitched.
The strawberry charm was a bargain Primark find.
The strawberry flowers are paper blossoms and the leaves were cut
 with a Marianne die.
The rose ribbon and pearls are all from the Ribbon Girl.

Enjoy your strawberries this summer.

Tilda with Lace Pants

Tilda with Lace Pants

First I must make a big apology for going AWOL for a while.
A series of unfortunate events meant I had no time to make cards.
Then I came down with shingles and became out of order for a few weeks.
But just back from a lovely holiday in Turkey and I'm ready to reach for my Tilda stamps.
I still have a few new ones to ink.
I made this card post shingles and pre holiday.
Totally fell in love with her cuteness.
She was coloured with distress inks and I used postmarks on the edge.
The papers are from Maja as per usual, all distressed, inked and stitched.
I think most of the lace, ribbon and flowers were from the Ribbon Girl.
There is a doily behind Tilda,
Border -  Do-Crafts  die.
Flags - La-la land die.
So, that's all from me just now.

Magnolia Tilda Hiding Bouquet

Hello

For todays card I have used Tilda Hiding Bouquet, one of my favourites.
I have made an easel card for a change, using Go Kreate
and Marianne dies and a few doilies.
I have found out how hard it is to photograph easel cards!

Papers are Magnolia, inked and distressed. The pretty lace is from Live & Love crafts, the ribbon, pearl trim and flowers are from The Ribbon Girl.

The Butterflies are cut from the same paper using Magnolia dies.

Tilda was painted using distress re-inkers.
She has Glamour Dust on her petticoat lace and Stickles on the flowers, but due to bad light the details are not showing.

The gorgeous lace...love this and have ordered more!

Thank you all for looking girls.

Happy Crafting

Magnolia Tilda with Eggs and Chick

HELLO FRIENDS

My card today features little Tilda with Eggs and Chick.
I thought it was time I actually made a card for Easter.
I have very little time lately and am very pleased the clocks have altered.
Another hour of crafting...yay!

She has been coloured using distress re-inkers and I have added a sprinkle of Frantage embossing around her.
The lace (if you can see it), pearls and flowers are from The Ribbon Girl.
Leaves are cut with Magnolia dies, the card and papers were cut using GoKreate dies and Tilda is on a Marianne die cut.
The Easter papers are "Spring Drop" by First edition, inked and stitched
 to white Bazzill card.
I never seem to run out of the paper in this pad. It makes an appearance every Spring and then goes back into it's drawer for the next.

Its lovely weather here, hope you are sharing it too.

Magnolia Zodiac Collection - VirgoTilda

Hello Peep's

Today I have another Magnolia Zodiac Tilda card. This time it's Virgo Tilda.
I love her hair but I'm new to colouring with inks & found it hard to do.
Still not happy with it really, lol.
It's a very girly card this time with lots of lace and butterflies.

VERY PROUD TO BE FEATURED ARTIST OF THE WEEK WITH THIS CARD AT FASHIONISTA CHALLENGE.

The papers are from the Sofiero Collection by Maja Design.
They are all inked and stitched by machine.
I will soon have to order some more. They are so pretty!
The lace, pearls, flowers and butterflies can be found at The Ribbon Girl.
Dies are magnolia, border die Xcut. Butterflies are Prima resin.

I added a little sprinkle of shabby white & gold Frantage heat embossing.

Well that's all for now.

Magnolia Zodiac Collection - Pisces Tilda

A big, Thank you to Mid Week Magnolias for choosing this card as part of the TOP THREE
in the FLOURISHES challenge.

This is the first of three cards I made last week.
It's made using Pisces Tilda from the Zodiac collection and just for a change I coloured it with my Copics.
The papers are both from Magnolia, inked to the edges and stitched.
Most of the embellishments, lace, pearls etc., are available from
The Ribbon Girl.

The card was cut using Go Kreate Dies, and the papers are matted and layered
onto White Bazzill card. The beautiful clear, faceted hearts pick up mermaid colours from the papers. I love them!

I  added pearls to Tilda's hair and scattered Crystal Glamour Dust on her tail.
The pretty blue bead stringing around the image is also from the Ribbon Girl.

I hope you like her

Magnolia - Tilda with Magnolia Flower

Hello Card Making Friends

This is a card I made using Tilda with Magnolia Flower.
To make this I used a Go Kreate die set and Magnolia papers.
The papers are all inked and stitched.
It isn't a very good picture I'm afraid. The real card is much brighter and clearer. Tilda is coloured with distress re-inkers on Langton hot press paper.
I added some butterflies and a selection of flowers from the Ribbon Girl and Wild Orchid. The bead stringing and the gorgeous lace
are also from the Ribbon Girl.

I hope you like her.
