TILDA WITH FANTASY FLOWERS

A Big Hello and a huge thank you to my followers.
Wow, my first card was amongst the winners for Tilda's Town and Marvelous Magnolia challenges.  I'm thrilled to bits!

For this weeks card I've used Tilda with Fantasy Flowers.
I spent a whole week colouring and re-colouring this image. It was so difficult.
No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't colour the hair. I suppose it's something that comes with practice. This image was actually the best of about twenty...no kidding...so I used it on the card. I am on a learning curve. Lol.

The papers are Maja Sofiero, inked and stitched. there is a little shabby white Frontage embossed on Tilda's flowers. I also used a square doily and a doily die from Marianne. The large butterfly and the leaves have been cut with Doohickey dies and the small butterfly, a JoyCraft die. Both butterflies are Glamour Dusted and decorated with pearls.

The blue flowers are tulips from Wild Orchid Crafts. They were white. I painted them with Shaded Lilac Ink and opened up the petals a bit.
 Hey presto....fantasy flowers!

The weather is so dark, rainy, cold and depressing. It's almost impossible to take a good picture. Looking forward to Spring and sunshine.

Entered for
Fashionista - Anything Goes
LHASM - Ribbon/Trim
Magnolialicious - Anything Goes
Midweek Magnolias - Blue
Marvelous Magnolia - Pearls

 Hello Everyone

This is the very first post on my blog, "Pieces of Dreams."

I  love Magnolia Tilda stamps and adore Maja Design papers, so most of my cards will be using these.
There may be the odd surprise along the way though...If I find some other fabulous papers.

For Christmas, my family bought me all the Tim Holtz distress markers. I have spent a long time practicing and following tutorials on how to use them.

So, it's time to show my first card.
The papers are Maja Sophiero, cut with Go Create Dies.
All other dies are Marianne.
I have used Tim Holtz distress inks.
Tilda with Scent plus Tilda's Dressing Table.
A sewing machine.
Shabby White Frantage and Glamour Dust.
Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and Lace from The Ribbon Girl.
The Perfume Charm Is mine from my craft stash and the sentiment is Lily of the Valley

Here is a close-up of the image.

And the flowers.

Last of all, The Perfume Bottle Charm.

I LOVE these new Magnolia Lost and Found stamps.

Thanks for coming over to look at my card.

 Hugs
